We're having a birthday party at our house tomorrow for Mia's 2nd birthday.
Its nothing too big. Just a couple of kids from our playgroup and family.
I am looking forward to it.
I think Mia will have a fantastic time :D

Pre-school & Potty Traning.
Today we went and put my soon-to-be two year olds name down for pre-school.
It looked such a lovely place and the staff seemed very friendly.
We had a look around and Mia went off and intreacted with students that where there. So i think Mia liked it aswell.
They have taken our names and adress and we have to send them a form back. I will be taking it back in on Monday.
Mia cried when we left as she didnt want to go.
If all goes well she will start the term after she turns three - January 2011. Just over a year away.
We have also been potty training her. Its going really well. She seems to do better if we leave her to it and she will just wonder over to the potty and do her business.
We've been giving her lots of positive praise when she goes and just reassuring her its not a bad thing when she has an accident.
I never thought she would be ready to be outta nappies so soon. I was expecting her to be nearer three before even thinking about it. We've just followed her on what she was doing.
We did kind of hit a wall on Wednesday, I think she was trying to test us to see if we was going to stick with it, she was just having accident after accident but things improved yesterday and today.
I cant beleive she'll be two in just under 2 weeks. wow.

So i've been MIA...
But for a pretty good reason.
Iwas moving house and had to internet acsess!!
It was so weird to be without the net and the tv for like 6 days. espeically as i twisted my ankle and couldnt really help with the move!
We're all pretty much settled in now and im loving it here. Its so much more spacious then our old place and Mia loves it aswell!

Moving house...
Ive been meaning to post this for the last few days but i've been rather busy!
Last Thursday me and Gary went to look at a house in the town over from us. The house we're in now is so small if we are going to extend our family we'd be walking on top of another!!
The house was everything we was looking for. lovely sized living and dining rooms, a nicely sized kitchen and a better sized bathroom.
The bedrooms we're all bigger then what we have now! and the gardens!! wow! they where amazing, i say they because there is TWO back gardens!!
So, we left there and went straight to the estate agents and picked up and application form. Went home found all the docs we needed etc and went back to the shop 9am the next morning - we was so impaitent they hadnt even unlocked the doors yet!!
We where the 1st there with an application so they we're gonna call us anywhere upto a week to let us know if we've got the place!
Weekend went buy and we got a call on Tuesday saying we'd got the place!!
We move on the 8th Sept.... a week on tuesday!!
I am so excited but also very busy!!

Sundown & my sunday!
Yesterday we took Mia to Sundown Advenutre Land with a toddler group i go to. Sundown is a "theme park" uniqely disigned for the under 10's!
Mia was hardly in her pushchair. She walked pretty much everywhere and loved it!! She was so well behaved aswell. She held my hand when i asked her too, she stopped running off when i asked her too.
I was a little aprehensive of getting their because we was going via coach and she hasnt travled by coach before. It was our 1st trip with no car seat and i was impressed...but i wont be doing it again for a long time! On the way there she was fine, was easily occuiped etc but on the way home she was tierd and wouldnt settle! Luckily my two sisters went so we could pass her about and keep her entertined for short bursts each!
Today i have had a pretty mundane day in comparison; Just the normal housework etc. I have also sorted out some of our clothes that dont fit or we dont ware anymore. They are boxed up and are going to go to the chairty shop.
I also boxed away Mia's clothes that no longer fit. I have just put the 6-9 months clothes away! - We are keeping hold of them till our next baby comes along and if its a girl we can reuse the good stuffs and if its a boy i will disburse it among my lovely friends! :)

Thursday...
Where is this week going? Its gone so quick.
I am stopping at my mums house tomorrow night because on Saturday me and Mia are going out with are toddler group for the day.
I am really looking forward to it because I also know Mia will love it just as much as i will!!
Today is toddlers so should be fun. Got to nip to my mums, got to take the pack and play to hers so Mia has somewhere to sleep.

Birthday Celebrations
On Saturday we had a double celebration. It was my Neices 4th Birthday Party and we had drinks on the nighttime for my mums birthday.
My younger sisters boyfriend surpised her with a cake (she isnt acutally a 100 though lol, shes only 58 haha!) We're keeping these photos for when shes 60! :D
